
Dr. William J. Bennett is a Distinguished Fellow at The Heritage Foundation and co-director of Empower America. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy from Williams College, a Ph.D. in political philosophy from the University of Texas, and a law degree from Harvard. Dr. Bennett served as President Reagan's Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities and Secretary of Education, and President Bush's "drug czar." He also has written and edited 11 books - including The Book of Virtues, The Children's Book of Virtues, and The Death of Outrage: Bill Clinton and the Assault on American Ideals, which hit number one on The New York Times best seller list.
