Ward Burton, driver for Bill Davis' MBNA race team, has always loved the outdoors, hunting and camping throughout his native Virginia. Now, he is working to preserve those backwoods and wildlife, so that current and future generations can enjoy and appreciate what Burton has treasured throughout his life.
 
"I've spent my whole life living and playing in the woods -- when I'm not on the race track," said Burton, who at age 34 is in his third NASCAR Winston Cup season. "And I'm still learning about wildlife. It's wonderful to be able to live where I do, enjoying the outdoors."
