Susan G. Forman, university professor is interested in the organizational factors that influence use of evidence-based interventions in educational settings and the effectiveness of cognitive-behavioral interventions with children and adolescents. Prior to coming to Rutgers in 1992, she was a professor of psychology and associate provost at the University of South Carolina. She served as vice president for undergraduate education for over a decade at Rutgers.

Her work has been supported by grants for the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institute of Mental Health, and the National Science Foundation, as well as a number of corporate and family foundations. She has served on the editorial boards of numerous psychology and education journals.

Her publications include approximately 60 articles and book chapters, as well as a number of monographs and books, including Coping Skills Interventions for Children and Adolescents (Jossey-Bass). She is a fellow of the American Psychological Association.

In addition, she has served on the executive boards of the school psychology division of the American Psychological Association and the National Association of Psychologists.
