A seasoned healthcare executive, prior to Cisco, Safavi was chief medical officer for the healthcare business of Thomson Reuters, where he established the Center for Healthcare Improvement to create a thought leadership presence. Safavi participates in more than 50 public speaking engagements annually. He has published numerous papers and articles, and has become a popular source for the healthcare media.
