Dr. Rosenfeld is currently an attending physician at New York Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Rossi Distinguished Clinical Professor of Medicine at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center. He was a member of The Practicing Physicians Advisory Council for the Secretary of Health and Human Services and is the Medical Editor for Parade Magazine. In addition to maintaining a private practice in Manhattan, Dr. Rosenfeld also served as a consultant to the National Institute of Health on such task forces as arteriosclerosis, sudden death and hypertension. He is the recipient of the first award for achievement in cardiovascular medicine in science by the New York affiliate of the American Heart Association and last November was named 'The Citizen of the World for 1999' by the United Nations.
