Inspirational presentations

An Irish-American, Denise Morrison was appointed senior vice president and president, North America Soup, Sauces and Berverages at the Campbell Soup Company in October 2007. Prior to that, she held the position of president of Campbell USA since June 2005, having joined in April 2003 as president for global sales and chief customer officer. Before joining the company, she had served in a variety of senior executive positions in companies such as Kraft Foods, Pepsi-Cola, Nestlé and Nabisco.

The Campbell Soup company is worth $5.2bn in sales in North America, covering the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America, and its international business represents sales of $1.5bn. But Campbell's Soup, the brand that was made so famous by Andy Warhol, will no longer appear on Irish retail shelves. Premier Foods Ireland, which owns both Erin and the Campbell's brand here, is due to spend €2m on uniting the two under the Erin name. Premier Foods acquired Campbell's Soup Ireland in August 2006 and was granted a limited licence to use the Campbell's trademark in Ireland until mid-2008.
