First Lady Barbara Bush endeared to millions around the world for her tireless energy, goodwill, and humor, she often jokes that her success in life is a result of marrying well.
As a former First Lady, she had a unique opportunity to make a difference in the public eye during her husband's service as Vice President and President of the United States.
