Andrew Erlich, Ph.D. has been involved in speaking, organizational development, multi-cultural research, motivational analysis and training since 1979 when he founded Erlich Transcultural Consultants (ETC). His speaking engagements include presentations to the Credit Union Executive Society, the Large Credit Union Association, the International Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus, the Institute for International Research, ESOMAR, the U.S. Travel Data Center, the San Diego Convention & Visitors Bureau, The California Governors Conference on Tourism, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Southern California and Phoenix Chapters of the American Marketing Association, the Western Regional Conference of the American Marketing Association, the American Psychological Association (Western Regional Convention on Psychology and Marketing Behavior), the Association for Media Psychology, and the Strategic Research Institute. He has appeared on local, national and international Spanish-language radio and television shows. In addition to his experience with speaking and research, Dr. Erlich has conducted cultural competency training programs for clients like Microsoft, J.P. MorganChase, GlaxoSmithKline, the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Avis, Earl Scheib Auto Body & Paint, and the National Multi-Cultural Institute. He has authored articles for the Los Angeles Times, Adweek Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Advertising Age Magazine, Marketing News and Quirks Market Research Review. He has contributed material to Forbes, USA Today, and Newsweek. Dr. Erlich is a member of the Advisory Board for Urban Call, a trade magazine for urban retailers. Dr. Erlich has his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology. A Cum Laude graduate of the University of Texas, he was raised in El Paso, Texas, speaking Spanish and English. A member of the American Marketing Association, he is also a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for the Psychological Study of Ethnic Minority Issues and the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research.
